love

Of course kenyan ladies will always say kenyan men have no idea what love is, i beg to differ, so see how my definition of love is soooooo romantic.
"Today I begin to understand what love must be, if it exists. . . . When we are parted, we each feel the lack of the other half of ourselves. We are incomplete like a book in two volumes of which the first has been lost. That is what I imagine love to be: incompleteness in absence" This isnt mine but i kind of relate to it ,see if you can too.
So i have another poem that all will like:

Touched by An Angel
We, unaccustomed to courage
exiles from delight
live coiled in shells of loneliness
until love leaves its high holy temple
and comes into our sight to liberate us into life.
Love arrives and in its train come ecstasies
old memories of pleasure
ancient histories of pain.
